Here at Batter For It, we believe everyone deserves a sweet treat, especially those going through tough times. Our new program aims to bring either a dozen homemade cookies, a dozen cupcakes or one decadent chocolate chip cookie CAKE to a family or individual who is in need.

There is ZERO CHARGE for this service.

We know that there are many people who could use a bit of extra joy, so each month we'll select a recipient based on your nominations. While we can’t fulfill every request, we will select one family per month to receive a special delivery. Eventually, we hope to brighten the day for as many as we can!

If your nominee has been selected I will reach out to you to confirm everything. I will never deliver without notifying you first.

STEP THREE

YOUR NOMINEE IS SELECTED.

NOW WHAT?

If your nominee is selected I will reach out to you FIRST to let you know.

I will confirm the details (such as delivery address and a few other details). Important...If I don't hear back from you within 48 hours I will move on to the next recipient. After confirming with you, I will contact the recipient to let them know that they will be receiving a delivery. It's up to you whether you would like to remain anonymous or not.

FAQ's

How far in advance should I submit my nomination?

Simply put, the sooner the better. If your request is time sensitive (example, a birthday), please submit your request as soon as possible.

Why do you require as much advance notice as possible?

Due to my current workload and the fact that my calendar often fills up months in advance, I need plenty of notice in order to make this program work. The more notice I have, the better chance I have of fulfilling your request.

I have a very time sensitive or a super last minute nomination. Should I even bother submitting a request?

Absolutely! Sometimes I am able to fit in a last minute requests.

My nominee has food allergies. Can you accommodate them?

Unfortunately, no. My baked goods are not allergy free and not made in a nut-free environment.

Why is this only available to residents of Worcester county?

For several reasons. First and foremost, I strongly believe in the importance of helping our neighbors close to home. By focusing my efforts locally, I can make a more significant impact on my community and support those who are a part of it. While I would love to extend my reach further, my capacity allows me to best serve those within my immediate county.

May I request customization on the Sweet Smile sweets?

These treats are not customizable. Themes will be chosen by me and will be based upon

the information you provide on the form.

May I just send you an email with my nominee?

Please fill out the (encrypted) form here. Email submissions will not be considered.

Will you be posting about the recipients on your socials?

Definitely not. My goal for this program is to quietly bring a smile to someone in need without bringing attention to them or to my business. The only time I will post on social media is when I need submissions for families or individuals in need.

Will the recipient know who nominated them?

That's your call. You decide if you want to remain anonymous or not.

What exactly will the recipient receive?

The recipient will receive one of the following items: One dozen decorated sugar cookies, a chocolate cdhip

chip cookie cake, 6 colossal stuffed cookies (flavors vary), or another sweet treat. I will determine the baked goods based on the information given to me. For example, if it's a child celebrating a birthday, they will most likely receive cookies or a cake.
