TERMS / HOW IT WORKS
Payment due You pay, I bake! Full payment is required up front (at time of order) and reserves your date.
No show = no baked goods My baked goods are best enjoyed fresh! Not showing up to the agreed upon pickup time forfeits your order. But take heart - I'll donate to an organization in need. Need to reschedule your order? Please reach out at least 3 days prior to your pickup.
Refunds I'm so confident that you'll love your baked goods, that I offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee. No hassles (I promise) and you keep your order. Simply let me know within 24 hours of receiving your order. Period. After 24 hours, I cannot offer refunds.
Pickup Dates and Times Pick up times are set upon ordering. Your punctuality is important since maintaining a timely schedule is crucial to ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for all of my clients and ensures that my home based business (and private life) runs smoothly. If you must change your pickup time or date, please try to let me know at least 72 hours in advance.
Change Cutoff Quantity and design changes may be made up to 2 weeks before due date. Any changes after the two week cutoff will incur a fee.

Order Cancellations will be handled on a case-by-case basis. Orders canceled with less than two weeks notice will not be refunded as I've already turned other orders away.
Inspiration Inspo pictures help a lot, but they're just that - inspiring. Your cookies will not be perfect replicas - I'll try to keep it close.
In a hurry? While I can't accommodate all last minute orders, I will make my best effort to. Orders placed with a turnaround time of under 14 days may require a fee.
Price Adjustments Prices are subject to change. Prices are often dictated by ingredients costs. I'm always trying to provide the best tasting baked goods to my clients. This means I can't honor old pricing (because the grocery store won't honor their old egg and butter prices - darn it).
Product Photography I often post pictures of your order (after delivery). If you do not want your order in the spotlight, please let me know at the time you place your order. Your secret is safe with me.
Trademarked images Certain images are copyrighted/trademarked and cannot be replicated (think Mickey Mouse, Jeep, etc). I am unable to replicate or create similar images (who wants cookie or cake controversy, right?). I can make a similar color palette though - so let's talk!
Pictures are worth a thousand words But they're not always accurate. Colors and lighting in photos and on computer screens may be slightly different than what you end up with. Also - cookies in photos may not be true to size! (which is a huge bummer, because frankly,
I'm all for eating an 12 inch cookie!). I will do my best to match your color, but colors may not always be exact.
Order Minimums Two dozen minimum for cookies. Need fewer than two dozen? Keep an eye out for popup shop and flash sales announced on my Facebook page (you do follow my Facebook page, right?)
It's All Yours Now Once you accept your order (thanks again, by the way), you're responsible for it. As I'll tell you when I hand it to you - Keep it safe, keep it upright, keep it away from heat, and keep it away from pets. If you do all those things, your order will remain perfect.
Shipping Unfortunately, the state of Maryland prohibits me from shipping baked goods outside of the state. I do not ship within the state either because decorated cookies are fragile and I don't want you to end up with a box of crumbs.
No Ghosts! To get your order just right, I'll need to communicate with you, normally by email. Please reply in a timely manner - otherwise, I'll have to wing it. Questions for me? Simply email or call and I promise to reply in a timely manner. Quotes and spots on my calendar are saved for 48 hours. If confirmation and payment are not received, the order is automatically canceled.
Achoo! Allergies? Baked goods are often made with ingredients that are known allergens. My kitchen is not allergy free and I unfortunately, I can't accommodate allergy-conscious orders. But please do reach out - I may have a perfect referral for you!
Food Laws I hold a Maryland cottage food permit. This means that my icings have passed strict laboratory testing and I hold a special permit number which allows me to prepare certain foods in my home kitchen. While my kitchen is not subject to the inspection laws of Maryland. My kitchen is not allergy free or gluten free.
In Sickness and in Health You're consuming food and with that, there are inherent risks. Choking hazards, food illnesses, and allergic reactions are possibilities - albeit, hopefully far reaching.
Pay means Yay Once you've submitted payment for your order, you're accepting the above terms.
